At American Women of Service, we strive to empower ALL women through civic and community service. When we say this is a "Sisterhood of Service", we mean just that. Our contestants are like none other. They encourage, empower and uplift their sisters. They service each other and their greater community. Our contestants bring to life the vision of American Women of Service through their character, service, and friendships. As a pageant organization, we foster an environment where women feel completely and uniquely themselves. Pageant week should be about embodying the best version of you and celebrating the journey and accomplishments you have made. American Women of Service is the place to come together with like-minded women, find your tribe and cultivate your most genuine self. Having a little fun along the way is simply the icing on the cake!

Competition Divisions

• Sweetheart - ages 18 to 29, can be married, divorced, with or without children 

• Mrs. - ages 18+, married

• Ms. - ages 30+

• Elite - ages 35 to 49

• Classic - ages 50 to 59

• Senior- ages 60+

Areas of Competition

• Panel-style Interview - 40% of the contestant's total score

• "Out on the Town" Fashion Wear - 20% of the contestant's total score

• Evening Gown with on-stage question - 30% of the contestant's total score. 

• Optional Competition - the highest optional score for each contestant accounts for 10% of the contestant's total score. One optional competition is included with registration for each contestant, additional optional categories may be entered at an additional fee.

Required Fees

• $350 Contestant Registration fee, includes state/regional crown & sash

• $650 Contestant Competition fee, includes all required competitions, contestant gala ticket, tickets to the optional show for contestants, contestant swag bag, contestant t-shirt, and  all pageant week activities

• $150 Custom Johnathan Kayne Opening Number Dress (additional charge for shipping)

• $55 ad page creation fee, 8.5x11 full-color ad page in the program book

• $100 CrownCARES Scholarship Contribution (fundraising opportunities available)

• $300 Dual Compete Fee - option to register into additional eligible competition divisions

International Woman of Service Title

     The International Woman of Service title is awarded to a well-rounded contestant who is committed to the growth of the organization and its brands. She is a supportive and encouraging woman grounded in her ability to serve the community. The International Woman of Service title is awarded based on the above required competitions in addition to hours of service (based on Presidential Service Award standards) and on fundraising efforts for the international platform, Crown CARES. A rubric for scoring parameters on these items is provided to all contestants.
